In Texas Congressional District 29, Congressman Gene Green hasn't faced a serious challenge in years. Hoping that this is the year, and that he is the candidate, Frank Mazzapica filed the paperwork today to become an official candidate in the 2010 Republican Primary. His goal is to win the primary and then send Gene Green home.
A press release was issued by the Mazzapica Campaign:
HOUSTON – Today the Frank Mazzapica for Congress Campaign had an exciting day filing for the US House of Representatives for Texas’ 29th Congressional District.
Pastor Frank Mazzapica visited the Harris Country Republican Party to officially put his name on the ballot for the March 2, 2010 Republican Primary. We believe that Frank’s vast experience in small business, full-time ministry, high school and secondary education and marital counseling will bring the change needed for the citizens of District 29.
“I am proud of my life long record as a civil servant. I served my nation as an Airman in the United States Air Force. Founded High Point High School, been a Senior Pastor for 31-years and taught at Lamar University. I have been serving my country since I was just a kid in the Boy Scouts of America” said Frank Mazzapica.
The Mazzapica for Congress Campaign knows the challenges ahead and we are ready to take it head on. We urge everyone to visit www.mazzapica4congress.com and take a look for what we stand for. We believe that we will be the Republican nominee to unseat Gene Green.
All the Best,
Nathan Mazzapica
Campaign Chairman
